Growing Nicely

Here the seedlings are six weeks old and growing nicely. You can see the tubercle structures developing.

Note that there are still 14 plantlets. No more have germinated since they were removed from the saturated conditions. The beach grit over-covering has suppressed the algae, and all the seedlings need now is heat, light and moisture to become fine specimen plants. Hopefully, about 15 years from now they will look like the parent plant:
